Early Season Lake Trout!

I caught this Lake Trout during my 40th trip with my Dad to Canada, one day after ice out at Gangler’s Clifton Lake Outpost on the North Seal River system in Manitoba, Canada. Fish was caught slow trolling a gold 4.5″ Lucky Strike Half Wave Spoon in some mild current between lakes next to a sand bar point and drop off.

    Great fish Greg. We were at Gangler"s same time as you but at the Main North Seal River Lodge. Caught 38" and 371/2" lakers, as well as 40 " northerns.
