MY father and me where out fishing for the day at Lake Moraine (Madison Reservoir). We had been fishing tipups for pickerel. We where also using hand lines for bluegills, perch, and black crappies. The fishing had been good, as we had caught four chain pickers on the tipup. At this point we got a flag up on one of the tipups. It was my turn to bring in the fish. We knew that this was a deferent fish as the tipup was spinning very fast, and all of the line was taken in the run. I pulled in the fish and what a surprise. This is the only largemouth bass we have ever gotten on tips ups.
