My dad and I were out meat fishing for white bass on a cool, breezy March afternoon and weren’t having much luck, when this monster hit. I was vertical jigging a white 7/8 oz. War Eagle Jiggin’ Spoon in about 15 ft. of water near some large rocks. I thought that I had hooked a drum at first, until he jumped right near the boat. We got him in the landing net and the rest is history.
