Steve Hoffman began his angling career pursuing catfish in lakes, ponds, rivers and reservoirs across the Midwest.  Over the years, he has fished from the Arctic Circle tundra to the South American jungles and from New England’s hottest runs of stripers and bluefish to the trophy trout fisheries of the Mountain West.

His background in the fishing world has encompassed that of magazine editor, book author, radio personality, television host, and publisher, where he has distinguished himself as an energetic, scientific and knowledgeable angler.

Today Hoffman is Vice President and Group Publisher of InterMedia Outdoors Fishing Group including In-Fisherman, Florida Sportsman, Fly Fisherman,  and BassFan. He is responsible for the strategic planning and development of all operations including magazine publishing, television operations, radio syndication, online/digital network, and brand driven merchandising.
