It is a five-inch stick-style bait that is constructed around a sponge, which absorbs and secretes scent, and Stinky Fingers’ staff says the best scent to use is their Entice Formula, which can be seen at this link: http://stinkyfingersbaitco.com/product/retail/freshwater/entice-formula/. The sponge is three-quarters of an inch long. It is situated inside the Twitchin Stick three-quarters of an inch from the tip of its head and 3 3/4 inches from the tip of its tail. The portion of the body that surrounds the sponge has 17 ports that allow the scent to be absorbed and exuded. The sponge can be reloaded with scent by placing the Twitchin Stick into its original package with some Entice Formula and squeezing it. It was designed to be rigged Texas style with a 3/0, 4/0 and 5/0 offset worm hook. When it is rigged without a sinker, it can be presented with an alluring walk-the-dog retrieve. It is also effective when it is employed on a slip-sinker rig and Carolina rig. Some anglers like to rig it backwards with its tail affixed to the hook. Thus, its head becomes its tail, which allows the scent to disperse more readily. Furthermore, it can be rigged wacky style on a jig or weightless hook. Midwest finesse anglers, however, will utilize it on Gopher Tackle’s Mushroom Head Jigs, as well as Shin Fukae’s Gamakatsu G-Finesse Series Wacky Jig Head. When it is rigged on a Gopher jig, it can be rigged with the head affixed to the jig’s collar or with the tail on the collar. Besides the addition of the pumpkin-seed and black-blue-fleck colors, it is available in five other hues: baby bass, Junebug, river bug, watermelon/red-fleck, and black/red fleck A package contains eight baits and sells for $5.99.
