THE CATCH!!!

After 3 hours of waiting, I was going to the bathroom with a full piece of bunker on the end of my line. Tick tick tick!!! something was biting my bait. Before I knew it the rod was flexed and I was ready for a fight. Before I could finish what I was doing I sprinted over to the pole and yanked as hard as I could. Yanking and reeling over and over. There was sweat dripping from me. 5 minutes into the fight my arms were ready to come off. But I was not giving up. About 10 minutes into it The beast was swimming around our boat coming up and than going right back down. I was still tired, but I could tell that it was too. When I could make out what it was I yelled STRIPER!!! I kept going as my dad said "come on buddy you can do this". And I did. We got out the net and brought that beast in to our boat. I was in shock. I lifted it up like it was a feather. After I got my picture with it it was time to say good bye. There was happiness throughout the boat and there will always be that happiness in my memory.
