Bass Gear & Accessories Lures DAMIKI Ghost Shad Ned Kehde October 23rd, 2013 | More From Ned Kehde Share0 Tweet Email Share on Facebook.Share on Twitter.Share on Google+ DAMIKI Ghost Shad was introduced to finesse anglers in July at the 2013 International Convention of Allied Sportfishing Trades show in Las Vegas. And it caught the eye of several members of the Finesse News Network, who are devotees of Midwest finesse tactics, but they have not had a chance to use it because tackle retailers were not scheduled to receive it until mid-October. It is a five-inch soft-plastic jerkbait that is endowed with a holographic strip across front half of its torso, which was designed to simulate the glitter and radiance of the scales of a baitfish. The mid-section of its torso is also enhanced with some air chambers, which allows it to plummet slowly and alluringly. According to Daniel Kim and the folks at DAMIKI, it can be rigged Texas-style on a weightless hook and retrieved on or near the surface. Drop-shot anglers can nose hook and present to the quarries at a variety of depths. Kim also described it as fabulous fluke-style bait, saying that anglers can employ it the same way they work with the classic Fluke that Zoom Bait Company made famous many years ago. Of course, Midwest finesse anglers can affix it to a 1/32- or 1/16-ounce Gopher Tackle Mushroom Head Jig, which they can cast and retrieve with their standard swim-glide-and-shake retrieve. It is available in six colors: baby bass, bluegill, pure ayu, pure pearl, seal, and shad. A package of six retails for $6.99 Share on Facebook.Share on Twitter.Share on Google+ Share0 Tweet Email Load Comments ( ) Don’t forget to sign up!
