“Amateurs will love this one,” said 3-time Lake Oahe PWT winner Gary Parsons.  In addition to the traditional points, channel edges, suspended (over the trees) fish and flats fish, May is the peak time for shallow fish on jigs and cranks.

The PWT limit is 5 fish. Only 2 of the 5 may be over 20 inches. Minimum size is 15 inches. Maximum number in the boat is 7.

Importation Restriction:
Licensed anglers may not import bait except for fathead minnows, golden shiners, creek chubs or white suckers without an importation permit. It is illegal to bring nonnative bait into South Dakota.

All Anglers must poccess a vailid South Dakota fishing license.
