Jig Storage Issues Matt Straw January 1st, 2012 | More From Matt Straw Share0 Tweet Email Share on Facebook.Share on Twitter.Share on Google+ This is Clam’s new Ice Armor Jig Box. Spotted it on the desk Dave Genz was using at the Ice Fishing Show in St. Paul. Available in three sizes and it’s waterproof. Great having those little sealed compartments for terminal tackle and bare hooks. The jigs (in this case a healthy batch of Lindy’s new ice jigs) are held firmly by pre-cut slots in hard foam. Very nice. We’ve mentioned the Plano fly boxes before. The smallest ones are a little more compact, but don’t offer those little sealed compartments. Which are nice. Unless all you care about are the jigs. But, if you’re like me, you can’t find a swivel, float stop, crankbait clip, or the right plain hook when you need one on the ice because everything is stored in separate little boxes, some of which are stored in pockets, some in the bucket, some in the side panel of a rod case, etc. Centrally located terminal tackle. That’s my New Year’s resolution for 2012. Share on Facebook.Share on Twitter.Share on Google+ Share0 Tweet Email Load Comments ( ) Don’t forget to sign up!
