Waterproof Storage

Most anglers I know don't mind getting wet. What they do care about, though, are rusty hooks, corroded pliers, and raingear that's wet before it rains. Some boats feature reasonably dry storage compartments, but most anglers carry more gear than they can fit in their boat compartments.

The Marine Storage Box from Plano features a water-resistant O-ring between the box and the lid to seal out moisture and keep contents dry. A small storage tray in the lid allows easy access to smaller items, and a lift-out tray separates contents. I use the box for tools and spare parts, and it never leaves my boat.

Plano's Water-Resistant Storage Bag features a hard bottom to keep the bag's contents dry even when sitting on a wet deck. A clear zippered pouch inside the PVC bag adds another level of protection for valuable items like cameras and wallets. Makes a great bag for raingear or plastic utility boxes.

Like the larger storage box, Plano's Waterproof Utility Boxes feature an O-ring to keep lures and terminal components dry and corrosion free. Boxes are available in popular Plano sizes (3500, 3600, and 3700) to match most needs. For an extra level of protection, place a VCI Pro Chip in the box to inhibit rust.
