Description and Application: Bringing over 30 years of professional bass angling experience to the design laboratory, Gary Klein plugged in his insight into the design of Berkley’s Flipping Jig, and it shows. The Flipping Jig features a PowerBait infused skirt that covers a needlepoint Fusion19 hook that pair nicely to keep fish on the end of the line. Klein implemented his favorite broad-head, Arkie-style flipping design that easily slips in and out of cover. The jig comes in 3/8-, 1/2-, 5/8- and 3/4-ounce models and 10 delectable color combinations.

Staff Perspective: Well thought out head design, accurate colors and PowerBait in the skirt? Ya, that makes perfect sense. I know for a fact these jigs will not only catch fish, but likely catch more fish in general. The flipping-style head has all the right curves in all the right places to swim through the gnarliest of blowdowns, brushpiles and other subsurface dense structural elements.
