Mustang Survival Minimalist Manual Inflatable Belt Pack

Description and Application: The inflatable belt pack has a discrete design for inshore kayak runs or even skilled swimmers looking for a little extra safety support. Soft exterior fabric and ergonomic construction make this PFD extremely comfortable to wear. It also includes Molle webbing to keep gear accessible and secure. Activated with a manual inflation cord, the Minimalist Manual Inflatable Belt Pack features 18.9 pounds of buoyancy when deployed. One size fits most, but it is compatible with the company’s Buckle Belt Extender (Model #MA7637)

Staff Perspective: I can see a lot of application for this PFD in the quickly growing kayak and paddleboard fishing communities. This is an effective alternative to large, bulky foam vests, and even some other inflatables. When space is limited, this is a great solution—however, be sure to check local and state PFD regulations before replacing any of your other PFDs.
