We started early with our Guide that morning with a change in the weather -clearing and sunny. As we left the lodge and the bay we noticed a change in the weather back to building clouds and a dropping barometer. We had never seen the pressure at these lower readings. We fished a number of bays with cabbage but as the pressure bottom we pulled into a promising bay with cabbage in deep water. We notice an abundance of bait fish. My father was fishing with a silver in-line spinner and immediately landed a Pike in the 45 inch range. As the clouds darken the gold took over and I caught the largest fish of Minor Bay's season 48.2 inches. After visiting many similar sites we had boated 14 Pike over 36 inches.
