Bass Pro Shops links up with USAngling

Bass Pro Shops and USAngling, the United States’ governing body for USA’s national fishing teams, announced today a global sponsorship agreement that runs through 2026.

The agreement makes Bass Pro Shops the “Official Retailer” and global sponsor of USAngling and its 12 national fishing teams spread across freshwater, saltwater and fly fishing disciplines. Men, women, youth, masters (over age 50) and disabled anglers compete in World Championship and Pan American Championship sportfishing events.

“Bass Pro Shops is the premier outdoor retailer in the world,” said Tony Forte, President of USAngling. “With the support of Johnny Morris and his team, we expect to achieve a historic angling (milestone) – Olympic recognition for sportfishing. This landmark will have far-reaching effects for industry stakeholders, conservation groups, angler athletes and outdoor enthusiasts.

> Freshwater: USA Bass Team, USA Bass Youth Team, USA Kayak Fishing Team, USA Ice Fishing Team, USA Street Fishing Team, USA Carp Fishing Team, USA Predator Fishing Team, USA Match Fishing Team.

> Saltwater: USA Kayak Fishing Saltwater Team, USA Big Game Fishing Team, USA Surf Casting Team, USA Surf Fishing Team.

> Fly Fishing: USA Fly Fishing Team, USA Women’s Fly Fishing Team, USA Youth Fly Fishing Team, USA Master’s Fly Fishing Team
