So I borrowed my uncle Todd's boat for the week and was trying my hardest to get on a huge early season walleye. skunked 5-6 days in a row and feeling down on my fishing skills. The next day I ran down river to a different spot and made one troll and nothing so I changed up the color on my worm harness and about 5 minutes later WHAMMO! fish on, but I thought I snagged a carp cause it was fighting kind of weird. the fish surfaces and I lost my mind cause it was so big. it was my buddy ben's first successful walleye fishing trip and he's like "what do I do?" so I stressed "GRAB THE NET!" the net was a little small and I didn't realize how big this fish was until it folded in half when ben made a perfect scoop! let the celebration begin
