By In-Fisherman Staff
In-Fisherman legends Al Lindner and Dan Sura talk about targeting and catching big Canadian smallmouth bass. Ontario has long been known for offering some of the finest fishing Canada has to offer. The guys are on a walleye lake and catch numbers of big smallmouth bass. The basis is understanding how to find and tempt feeding smallmouths, and this works anywhere they live. They employ some interesting presentations that were cutting edge in their day, how do they hold up by today's standards?

00:00:11.580 --> 00:00:31.230: Florida, Texas, California. Where is the best bass fishing in North America? Well, that's a topic that could start a fight, but during the summer months, the In-Fisherman staff spends an awful lot of time chasing big, small mouths in Ontario waters. Why? Just watch.
00:00:33.750 --> 00:00:43.890: Look at this. I catch this size small and look at one he catches. This has been happening to me all morning. I know why. 'Cause he's fishing in front of me.

00:00:46.920 --> 00:01:10.650: Yes. Whew. Maybe you get an idea why Al and I both enjoy fishing smallmouth bass so much. I mean these are one tough street brawler and we're up in Canada on a walleye lake. And you know what? Many, many of these waters also contain excellent populations of small mouth and most folks just don't fish for 'em.
00:01:10.650 --> 00:01:17.040: They're easy to catch. And today we're gonna be cranking up smallmouth bass walleye and probably a few bonus pike as well.
00:01:26.075 -->: Come on. Come back Mike. Come. What? God. So you get, look at how fat they are, Jim. We're gonna wait on them things. You know, some of the best, absolute best walleye water all over Canada. Coincides with some of the best smallmouth water. We fished all over Canada and smallmouth happened to be my favorite fish.

He's a hot, hot fish. You gotta be a little bit gentle with him too. You know, you get him hooked. He right the smell. You pull too hard. You pull it out...
