Clyde Hoschler, who is a multispecies guide from Topeka, Kansas, spends many hours a year pursuing smallmouth bass and temperate bass in several of the flatland land reservoirs that grace the countryside of northeastern Kansas. And he thinks that Culprit's new DW1 Grub will play a significant role in his and his client finesse arsnal in the months to come.
Culprit introduced this two-inch double-tail grub to the angling world in July at the 2013 International Convention of Allied Sportfishing Trades show in Las Vegas.
Its torso is endowed with 10 ribs. Its two tails have a different design than other twin- or double tailed grubs. This unique tail design allows it to exhibit the claws of a crayfish when an angler hops along the bottom or as a pair of tiny bait dish swimming in tandem when an angler slowly swims it in a do-nothing retrieve. According to Holscher, the tails undulate provocatively even during his most subtle retrieves.
It is available is these colors: brown, cinnamon purple black flake, white, black blue flake, watermelon red, and green pumpkin. The suggested retail price for a package of 10 is $3.08.
