A previous blog featured the Opti Shad that Lucky Craft and Optimum Bait Company recently created. They have also worked together to produce another finesse bait that they call the Victory Tail.
The Victory Tail exhibits a long minnow-style body.  It is endowed with  a forked tail rather than the boot tail that the Opti Shad possesses.  In essence it is a fluke-style bait that has been embellished with a lot of modern airs

It can be employed in a variety of ways.  Anglers can utilize it on a traditional double-fluke rig. It should work well on Carolina rigs, Neko rigs and split-shot rigs. And like it's sister, the Opti Shad, it can be worked as a topwater offering when it is rigged without a sinker. Of course, the Texas rig, featuring a slip-sinker and off-set or wide-gap hook, is another way to fish it. Midwest finesse anglers will wield it on a a jig with an expose hook.
It is available in two sizes: three inch and five inch.
It is manufactured in 10 ultra-realistic colors: shad, sunfish, pearl white, wakasagi, green-pumpkin chartreuse, golden shiner, sexy shad, ghost shad, Jackson trout and ghost rider.
The suggested retail price for a package of six three-inch Victory Tails is $4.99. A bag of five five-inchers is $4.99.
