Fishing Gear: Berkley Dredger New Colors

Berkley Dredger New Colors

Description and Application: Berkley paired its world-class bait design engineers with a team of pro anglers, which includes crankbait legend David Fritts. The family of crankbaits capture the action and reliability of classic wooden balsa baits, but feature the durability delivered in a synthetic bait. The balanced designs throw straight and far and are consistently ready to run right out of the package without tuning. The Dredgers are now available in six new high-definition colors, which include HD Blueback Herring, HD Bluegill, HD Threadfin Shad, HD Tennessee Shad, HD White Bass and HD Yellow Perch. The assortment of baits features six running depths beginning at 8 to 10 feet, 9 to 11 feet, 12 to 15.5 feet, 16 to 19.5 feet, 20 to 22.5 feet and 22 to 26 feet.

Staff Perspective: The Berkley Dredgers offer a different profile than most crankbaits, but also with manageable running depths that helps anglers put their presentation exactly where they want to. Not only do the Dredgers remove the guess work, the new HD patterns make the realism that much more believable, and when matched with control that means more fish in the boat.

Cost:$8.99
