Description and Application: The Inshore Speed Sticks feature premium HM40 graphite blanks, rugged stainless-steel guides with aluminum oxide inserts, the G Clutch reel seat for casting rods, and the Lew’s patent pending CT-1 ComfortTouch grip with extended front foregrip for leverage while fighting fish for spinning rods. Casting Rods feature patent pending G Clutch handle system with Midas Touch which provides direct contact with the blank for direct sensitivity at all times, and also put the reel closer to the blank for a more compact profile and better balance.

Staff Perspective:The family of rods is comprised of six baitcasting models and six spinning to cover the gamut of inshore fishing situations. The rods come standard with Winn Dri-Tac split-grip handles, stainless still corrosion resistant hook keeper—as we all know salt is very hard on your gear, and this rod was designed to handle it. (But wash it off when you’re done anyways.) The rods pair well with the Lew’s Inshore spinning and baitcasting reels—a match made in heaven.
