Description and Application: The Minn Kota Terrova is one of the most popular trolling motors in history for good reason, including features such as i-Pilot Link GPS, Spot-Lock, and Humminbird chartplotter integration. And you can also select models that come with built-in Mega Down Imaging. Additional features include Lift-Assist that makes stowing the motor simple, the electric foot pedal provides a low-profile design that offers two steering options, rotary speed control dial, momentary/constant on toggle and 18 feet of cable allowing the user to run it virtually from anywhere in the boat. Plus, so much more. There are several models including shaft lengths at 45, 54, 60 and 72 inches, 12-, 24- and 36-volt options, built-in Universal Sonar or Mega Down Imaging and i-Pilot GPS or i-Pilot Link GPS.
Staff Perspective: The simplicity and valuable application with the Terrova is unparalleled in my mind. It’s hard to narrow down which specific feature I value the most, but really it’s the whole system and how it literally can be managed from anywhere in the boat. Did you know that in a pinch, you can activate and operate your i-Pilot Link system from the cockpit of your boat from the buttons on the Humminbird unit? How about having Mega Down Imaging built into the trolling motor? The list goes on but having the One-Boat Network rigged on your boat gives you a leg up, big time. The fish won’t know what hit ‘em.
