My Biggest Crappie Ever

Fishing on Crooked Lake in Steuben County Indiana, I had 6 crappies in the livewell, when I caught this giant of a crappie.....Measured an even honest 17". Had picture taken at boat ramp and promptly released......Using a jig and minnow for bait. I lived on Lake Okeechobee for 15 years during the 90's and caught tons of crappies there, but none ever that big.
