My brother in law was doing an all-night fishing trip, so I went out to keep him company for a little while. I had just gotten by first fishing license and I had never been fishing before, but it was a beautiful night so I thought I would give it a try. Within an hour, I had a bite. My brother in law gave me step by step instruction on what to do; with the intermittent "don't you dare lose my good fishing pole!" The adrenaline kicked in, and I hung on for dear life while reeling until I thought my arm couldn't reel any longer. When I finally got it to the boat, and in the net, I couldn't believe the size. The real fun was the getting the picture- trying to lift it off the ground. When the fish started flipping around, I squealed like a little girl. They got it on video, and I am still being laughed at.
