Worth The Wait

Worth The Wait

Dan Maas

Tucson Arizona

I've been trying to catch a Muskie for over 25 years but have always been skunked. I figured Id give it another try back at the place where I saw my first muskie when I was a kid, Island View Resort up in Mercer Wisconsin. In the late afternoon, on my last day there, IT HAPPENED ! With my knees shaking, and stomach churning, my buddy Todd netted me the most beautiful fish of my life. A 47 1/4" gorgeous girl. I can tell you it was well worth the wait.....Im hooked ! Already planning next years trip and it cant come soon enough.
