I head out without my camera just to test some new lures i've been working on and i end up hooking the biggest bass of my life. Just under 24 inches at least i had a cellphone to take a picture of it! I thought about filling the back of my jon boat with water to make a live well to take the fish back to my in-laws house to get a real picture, but then i thought this fish must be 25-30 years old to be that big in NJ and 30 seconds out of the water was enough I just let it go, I didn't want to mess with it at all. It swam off right away strong and not phased at all. At least i know my lure works and i got to experience this awesome fish!
