My son and I were fishing Echo Lake in Minnesota on Friday the 14th of September. We were drift fishing and I was using a white roadrunner with a night crawler. I was going through my tackle box when my pole almost left the boat. To my surprise I had a bluegill instead of what I thought was a walleye. Back at Trails End Resort we weighed and measured my fish. It weighed in at 1 Lb 15.5 Oz. had a length of 11.5 inches and a girth of 13 3/4 inches. After the pictures it was released at the dock.
