Fishing at Utik Lake, Manitoba, Canada with guide Jamie Canada and friend Tom Dye, I caught this 45 inch northern pike on a Half Wave Spoon on August 3, 2012. After a quick picture, the fish was released unharmed and in good condition. North Haven Resort is catch and release with the requirement of barbless hooks. The original treble hook was replaced by a single barbless hook.
