The battery is a highly versatile deep-cycle battery built on patented Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO₄) chemistry 26650 cells. The LBP100 features an improved built-in battery management system (BMS) that keeps the battery running at peak performance while preventing overheating, overcharging, and maximizing cell cycle life. This is a plug-and-play option for "MOST" applications that currently use a lead acid, gel, or AGM style battery. All LITHIUM BATTERIES must be charged with a lithium charger.

Staff Perspective:Rigged in series as a 24- or 36-volt system to power most trolling motors, this is a great battery for electric propulsion applications.
