(Written by Guide Clayton Schick)Joe, has been coming to Wollaston Lake Lodge for 10 years, and this year he struck green gold, with a 48"x19" monster Northern Pike. Joe was burning in his Bucktail when this fish struck about 50 feet from the boat. We never saw the fish for 3 minutes, we knew it was big but didn't know that when it surfaced he had on his personal best pike to date! Joe has caught 91 Pike over 40 inches in the last ten years but this fish will be one he will never forget! On this trip he also caught a 47.5" and a 46" Pike as well to go along with his 20 over 40"!!
