Midwest finesse anglers are constantly in search of creature baits that they can employ on small jigs with exposed hook.
Recently several members of the Finesse News Network alerted us about Berkley's PowerBait Chigger Quad, saying it looks to be a relative of the three-inch Powerbait Chigger Craw.
This new rendition is endowed with two large curved claws that are attached to the side of its head. The claws are accompanied by two thin, long and curved antennas that protrude from its nose. Three ribs divide its torso into four segments. There are three legs on each side of its torso, and they are situated at each of the rib sections.

It is four-inches long, and old-time finesse anglers might rig it Tex-posed on a split-shot rig. But when most Midwest finesse angler employ it on a 1/16- or 3/32-ounce Gopher Tackle Mushroom Head Jig, they will probably trim a half inch or more off of its tail. And some Midwest anglers are hoping that a three-inch version will appear in the future.
It is available in 10 colors. A package of eight can be purchased for $4.29 at Jann's Netcraft.
