I was fishing solo from the bank in low, clear water conditions. I was using 20 lb braid mainline, 12 lb fluorocarbon leader, slip float with in-line sinker and a 1/8 oz 1st Bite steelhead jig. This is my largest steelhead to date in my 4th season of steelhead fishing. I was a subscriber to In-Fisherman from 1980-85. I really appreciate your message of catch & release fishing!
