Culprit Lures recently introduced the Incredi-Slim to the finesse fishing world.
This 3 1/2-inch creature bait is a trimmed-down version of Culprit's Incredi-Craw. It is a half of an inch shorter than its big brother, and its torso and its 10 appendages are thinner.
Like its brother, the two curly appendages that radiate from the tip of its head undulate provocatively when anglers retrieve it. They even exhibit subtle gyrations when it is at rest during a deadstick presentation.

The two feather-shaped appendages that protrude from the side of its head move to and fro with a seductive air.
Three short legs extend from each side of its torso and part of its tail. These six appendages add another element of action to this creature.
The tail is encircled with rings, and it is capped with a button- or mushroom-style tip.

Its head is smooth, as is portions of its torso. Part of the torso is wrapped with two smooth shell-like features that form a gap along the top of its back.
The folks at Culprit say that it can be employed on a Carolina-rig, shaky-head jig, and bladed swim-jig, such as a ChatterBait. But Midwest finesse anglers, who are always searching for a creature bait to wield in the spring, will rig it on a small button- or mushroom-style jig or even a split-shot rig. And when they rig it onto their jig, many of them will shorten it a half of an inch or so by removing part of the tail.
It is available in eight colors: Ambrosia, Bama Bug, Black Blue Flake, Green Pumpkin Blue, Junebug, Okeechobee, Watermelon Red, and White.
Anglers can purchase a package of eight for $3.99 from one online retailer and as much as $4.89 at other vendors.
