For a number of years, many Midwest finesse anglers have become devotees of Z-Man Fishing Products' ElaZtech baits, which they rig on 1/32-, 1/16- and 3/32-ounce jigs.
To the delight of these finesse anglers, Z-Man will introduce a new finesse bait, which they call the Scented LeechZ, at the International Convention of Allied Sportfishing Trades exhibition on July 9 in Las Vegas.
It was designed as a drop-shot bait, but it looks as if it will becoming an alluring and effective fixture on the finesse-size jigs that Midwest finesse angles employ.

It is three-inches long and extremely buoyant. From the tip of its nose to the end of its tail, it is ringed with ribs. Its torso is cone shaped. The diameter of the tail is thin where it is attached to its torso, and then it quickly becomes bulbous, which allows the tail to dance provocatively.
It is impregnated with Pro-Cure Inc.'s Super Gel leech scent, which is made from ribbon leeches and amino acids. It is not impregnated with salt, which delights several Midwest anglers.
They are exceptionally durable baits. Therefore, one Scented LeechZ can withstand donnybrooks with scores and scores of largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass.

It is available in eight colors: black, black blue flakes, green pumpkin, dark melon red, black gold flakes, bluegill, blue steel, and Christmas.
A package of six retails for $4.99.
