Description and Application: The Hunter SideStep 200 is a flip-over ice shelter featuring Frabill’s patented SideStep entry system for easy, convenient access. Two anglers fit comfortably inside, protected from harsh winter winds and bitter-cold temps thanks to a dense welded insulation. The two plush boat seats can be adjusted to accommodate hole placement, and roof bars will handle LED lights and accessory hooks. Plus, there are two upper vents on either side, side windows, a rear window and a large panoramic front window so the duo of anglers can watch for tip-up flags.
Staff Perspective: There are a couple features I love about this house, including the quilted skin that retains heat in an amazing fashion. It gets very warm inside of the 200, especially when a Buddy Heater is running—you’ll stay comfortable when the winter weather is rough. I also like the compact nature of this house, yet once inside it feels like a full-size flip over. It packs up nice and easily and can be moved around the garage floor or shop with ease. Not to mention the Ice Hunter series look great with the Mossy Oak Elements pattern on the outside.
