Northland Rumble Monster
Description and Application: If you're fishing for the biggest predators, you'll want Northland’s Rumble Monster in your arsenal. The vulnerable hand-tuned action is just the feast they're looking for. Troll at varied speeds to vary swim depths from 10 to 20 feet with sudden turns to fire strikes from following predators. Or troll at a steady 3 to 4 miles per hour and move parallel along drop-offs, using sonar to stay above hanging fish. For casting, look for weedlines or shorelines with small, timbered bays. Extremely durable ABS resin body and super-strong poly-carbonate swimming lip that is uniquely locked into the lures body and equipped with heavy-duty hooks and split rings. This bait is truly Battle-Ready. It comes in 10 awesome colors.
Staff Perspective: Trolling for muskies and pike? For sure, but I also see a casting application here, almost in twitchbait fashion. The lure represents a large baitfish that often tickles the fancy of a hunting pike or muskie, more calories per bite. You can cast this one a long way, work it back with a steady retrieve, feed it a few twitches here and there and it’ll figure 8 perfectly at boat side. I think the colors are very attractive also. If you like big teeth, this bait deserves a shot.
Cost: $14.99
