Staff Perspective: It took me a year to save up enough money to get my first St. Croix rod many years ago. And I still have it today, and it still has a spot in my daily line-up. Now I’m fortunate enough to have a decent collection, and I can tell you they are as good as advertised. When it comes to muskie fishing, few rods can handle the abuse muskie anglers are known to dish out, year after year, but St. Croix handles it. I know that I can depend on it year after year, cast after cast—they work as hard as you do.
