Description and Application: Deep diving crankbaits are common, but the unique curved bills of the XD series allow the bait to dive deeper and faster, changing the deep diving crankbait game forever. The XD series from Strike King has set the standard for deep running crankbaits. The 5XD comes standard with a uniquely curved bill and perfect balance, striking finishes and realistic patterns and free-floating rattles that emit varying sound frequencies. The 5XD weighs 5/8 ounces and dives to 15 feet.

Staff Perspective:When the fish are staged on the river channel or deep weed edge, you need a tool that will get to their level—the 5XD is a perfect option for bass holding to the 12- to 15-foot mark.
