Staff Perspective: Braided line has so many applications, but a lot of that are based on preferences. In fact, one angler might choose one test over the next for a specific application while the next angler might do the opposite. And that’s ok, just depends on what works for you. As I’ve built my personal experience, I almost exclusively prefer 8- or 10-pound braid on spinning reels (tipped with a fluorocarbon leader), and braid for flipping jigs. Bottom line is, you’ve gotta believe in what you’re using, and the Tour Grade Braid is worth spooling up with.
