Strike King Tour Grade Skipping Jig
Description and Application: The Strike King Tour Grade Skipping Jig turns up the heat at your favorite fishing spot. Designed from scratch by pro angler Andy Montgomery, this performance skipping jig is built around a unique flat-sided head shape that glances lightly off the surface, for smooth, controlled skipping into the tight spaces that hold monster bass. It has a super strong Gamakatsu hook that won’t bend when banged against hard cover, and its line tie angle and extra sharpness aid in hook sets. Perfect for fishing overhangs, docks, and other hard-to-reach spots, the Strike King Tour Grade Skipping Jig elevates your ability and potential to catch more fish.
Staff Perspective: I may love skipping jigs under docks during a hot and sunny as much as any type of bass fishing. It’s an art that takes time and effort to perfect, but maybe you never perfect it, but it’s very effective and a ton of fun. You must be able to get it way back up in there sometimes, and the right jig is a critical part. Andy Montgomery is arguable one of the best dock skippers in the game, and you can bet this design will work. It comes in 3/8- and 1/2-ounce models and seven excellent colors.
Cost: $6.99
