Description and Application: Custom designed swimming lip, combined with a lower positioned head creates an erratic, hard pounding, sweeping action that large- and smallmouth bass find hard to resist. Featuring life-like, interchangeable silicone skirt in ultra-realistic baitfish patters, the lure features a stainless soft-plastic keeper armed with a premium VMC hook, Duolock Snap and split ring. It amplifies water displacement and forces the bait’s body to wiggle fiercely as it’s retrieved through the water. It’s available in 3/8- and 1/2-ounce weights and nine forage mimicking colors

Staff Perspective: Sometimes a different take with a new perspective will fool the fish in a big way. The Shuddering Bait catches fish when other lures are not as productive. Just match the bait with a soft-plastic, swimming-type trailer, pair it up with a medium-action casting rod and crank nice and slow near standing weeds—and hang on. When the rod loads up set the hook, sometimes it’s a fish, sometimes weeds—either way the fleeing action often triggers bites from following fish.
