I felt a "thunk", set the hook, and it was barely moving. I was jigging for walleye in the tailwater of Patoka Lake with an pink eighth ounce jighead dressed with a pearl white twister tail. I knew it wasn't a walleye and knew I might have hooked a flathead. It took 25 - 30 before I even saw the fish. I had to get it around the corner of the wall without breaking the 8 lb. test line so we could get it close enough to net. The jig practically fell out of it's upper lip and the twister tail was gone and the hook bent out!
