First time Northern Pike fishing. 1st day out on the water. 2nd fish of the day. I casted toward the bank and was reeling in and half of my lure was out of the water as I was getting ready to recast when all of a sudden this fish came out of nowwhere and attacked my lure and scared the ______ out of me and the fight was on. It took about 10 min. to catch the fish. We took some photos and measurements, 43x17x22 lb, then released the fish for another day.
