LIVETARGET Introduces the New Flutter Shad for Finesse and Versatility

LIVETARGET's new Flutter Shad behaves like a traditional jigging spoon but has the narrow profile of a common Shad or Sardine.

LIVETARGET's new Flutter Shad behaves like a traditional jigging spoon but has the narrow profile of a common Shad or Sardine. Featuring the Company's new Injected Core Technology (ICT), it showcases a Shad profile while maintaining the jigging spoon action creating a combination unrivaled in the industry.

The traditional metal stamping process used to manufacture a typical jigging spoon was necessary to create the action but markedly unnatural in appearance, making game fish wary.

Injected Core Technology enables the Inner-Core to host a life-like baitfish profile, which the Exo-Skin gives the lure its signature flutter action. The metallic Inner-Core also produces a strobe-like shine that flashes incredibly bright, especially in dark deep water.

Jigging spoons have been in the arsenal of open-water and ice anglers for countless decades. Fact is, they are the perfect bait for a lot of situations and species, such as striped bass, smallmouth and largemouth bass, pike, walleye, trout, perch... the list goes on. There's hardly a fish that swims that wont eat a jigging spoon presented in the right place with the right action. The challenge with most jigging spoons is their rudimentary paint schemes and lack of profile and anatomical markings, which often makes them inadequate for triggering hungry, yet wary predators.

LIVETARGET set out to fix this dilemma with a specially-designed spoon that excels in open-water and is an absolute phenom through the ice. Never before has there been a jigging spoon this anatomically accurate with such a unique action... until now.

LIVETARGET is proud to announce the introduction of a new era of jigging spoon design with its unique Flutter Shad. The metallic Inner-Core represents a deep bodied baitfish such as a Shad or Sardine. The core is encapsulated in a crystal clear, durable Exo-Skin, which generates the bait's signature action but is less noticeable under water. Game fish focus on the natural profile of the forage and are not alarmed by the transparent action-generating mechanics.

Lift and drop to create a falling shimmy action or snap the rod tip on the retrieve to generate a darting behavior. Both actions produce a pulsating flash. There's no need to worry about the plastic durability when banging off bottom. The Exo-Skin is produced with an advanced plastic that has a slight pliability, making it incredibly tough and resilient.

One of the most significant advantages of ICT is the ratio of plastic between the Inner-Core and Exo-Skin. The Inner-Core is much smaller than the overall cubic mass of the entire lure. This means anglers can present a smaller hatch size but still have the advantages of throwing a bigger bait. The Exo-Skin adds 30% more clear plastic which adds more weight, enabling anglers to cast farther and more direct contact with the lure. For the first time ever, anglers can fish smaller hatches for big bites.

The feathered treble hook creates drag and is an ideal strike position when falling; hook more fish and less bottom. Inactive fish in cold or warm water temperatures will often eat the feather hook as they are attracted to the shimmy of the lure but too lethargic to strike aggressively, thus producing bonus bites in ultra-difficult conditions.

The new LIVETARGET Flutter Shad comes in five weights to meet a variety of fishing applications: 3/8 oz/11 g; 1/2 once/14 g; 3/4 oz/21 g; 1oz/28 g; 1 1/2 oz/42 g, as well as ten realistic forage-matching colors. The LIVETARGET Flutter Spoon comes in a pack of one with an MSRP of $9.99 USD.
