My Biggest Smallmouth...So Far

My Biggest Smallmouth...So Far
Spring Smallmouth on Swimbait

Nick Tudisco

Burnsville MN

Early spring and I was fishing a shallow rock pile in the late morning sun. Was trying a new technique for the 1st time, that I had seen with work with great success on In-Fisherman. That technique is the Doug Stange, Berkley Flat back shad swimbait on a coned jig head, cast and retrieved like a crankbait. Well this picture of my largest smallmouth to date is proof that Doug's swimbait technique is the real deal.
