Staff Tested Tough: Set-Me-Free Lure Retriever

Staff Tested Tough: Set-Me-Free Lure Retriever

In-Fisherman Editor In Chief Doug Stange has been using Freddie's "Set-Me-Free" Lure Retriever for almost a year. "What a great product for reducing the number of snagged lures you lose, especially in wood cover," he says. "Typical is a recent trip to fish crankbaits in the stumpfields on Lake Fork, Texas. The SMF saved me 15 crankbaits (I started counting), before I finally lost a crankbait and the SMF to a snag. So, it's not totally foolproof. It's also not quite so effective for removing lures snagged in rock." You get two of the specially designed 2-ounce lead lure savers for $9.95.
