Several Midwest finesse anglers have reported to the Finesse News Network that the Stinky Fingers Bait Company of Orange Park, Florida, has created a 3.75-inch bait called the Paddletail.
Its body is endowed with has the same sponge technology as all of Stinky Fingers' baits. The Paddletail is appointed with 17 sponge-filled release chambers and portals that gradually and constantly dispense a scent that Stinky Fingers call Intense Craw. According to the folks at Stinky Fingers, the sponge chambers resolve the problem that confounds anglers who apply scents to the surface of soft-plastic baits, and the scent quickly dissipates.
The Paddletail was designed to replicate the body of a shad, and when it is retrieved, it exhibits an tight wobble and thumping tail. Midwest finesse anglers will work with affixed to a either a 1/16- or 3/32-ounce Gopher Tackle Mushroom Head Jig.
It is available in six colors, and there will be more colors in the near future.
A package of eight sells for $5.99.
