My cousins and I fished outside of a channel on Lake Auburn along a weed edge. I made a cast into a pocket near shore with a 3" Baby Rage Craw. The lure never hit bottom, my line went sideways and I reeled down to eat the slack. My rod tip began to bend slightly from the weight of the fish. I set the hook and connected. The bass leaped in the air and fought hard. My cousin landed it and we snapped a quick photo before releasing it.
