on Friday February 22 2013 my son, Samuel Phillips, who is 7yrs old, was ice fishing with his dad on West lake in new York. He caught this 17.5 inches, 2.5 crappie. Guys also fishing on the lake said that that was the largest crappie they have ever seen. He was so proud of this catch that he is getting in mounted.
