Wind Swept Channel Cat

Wind Swept Channel Cat

Todd Wendorf

McFarland WI - WISCONSIN

I found a place to hide from 30 mph winds that kept me safe in my smaller boat but still allowed the warm surface water to be stacked up on a northern shoreline. It only took a few minutes to find the channel cats that were taking advantage of the warm water. This 35" and 22 lb beast was taken on a cut bluegill in about 1.5' of water.

Date Caught: 04/30/2013

Kept / Released: Released

Region of Catch: Region 1
