Host: Jeff Weakley
Jeff Weakley, Editor-in-Chief of Florida Sportsman Magazine, has fished extensively around the Sunshine State, from Fernandina Beach to the Dry Tortugas, all the way up the Gulf of Mexico to the Alabama state line. He currently lives on the Treasure Coast of Florida where on Saturdays he rotates between fishing the Atlantic Ocean on his 21-foot center console and bass lakes on his 12-foot solo canoe. On any day of the week, you might find him stalking pompano and snook in the Indian River Lagoon. Over the years, Jeff has led Coastal Conservation Association chapters, won awards from the Florida Outdoor Writers Association, volunteered with youth programs and guest-lectured at fishing clubs and expos. Since beginning a career as an outdoors writer in 1995, he has penned hundreds of how-to articles on a vast array of subjects ranging from fly fishing for panfish to deep-dropping for giant swordfish. Jeff also hosted numerous seasons of television for Florida Sportsman and wrote a book on kayak fishing.
